David W. Ryder, 58, of Alexander, died Tuesday (May 13, 2014) at United Memorial Medical Center, in Batavia. David was born February 15, 1956 in South Miami Beach, FL, a son of the late James and Barbara (Murray) Ryder. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and hunting and was a member of the Southside White Tail Club. David was an assistant track supervisor at the New Jersey Sports and Expo Authority in Rutherford, New Jersey. Survivors include lifetime partner, Cindy Mueller of Alexander; one brother, Michael Ryder of New Jersey; two sisters, Joanie Hill and Patricia Ryder, both of Texas and five nieces and nephews. There are no prior calling hours. His Memorial Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at Resurrection Parish – St. Mary’s Church, 18 Ellicott Street, Batavia. Memorials may be made to the family.
